All Things Classic x DJ ACRO: August edition.

ALL THINGS CLASSIC continues this month with a summer ending/fall welcoming event. This all vinyl monthly feature has quickly become one of the premiere events on the Ottawa scene and features all the best classic and wax from hip hop, soul, funk, blues, reggae, breaks, and samples. 

After holding down July as a solo effort,  DJ ACRO is going back full circle and welcoming back  DJ ILLO who helped him launch the first ever all things classic back in March. As for himself, Illo has had a busy summer, making it very clear that he has picked up some pretty heavy wax while travelling around the country and is ready to throw down for this one!

So with that, I invite you all down to the Standard Luxury Tavern (360 Elgin St.) on TUESDAY, AUGUST 30th, 2011 for what is easily the best and most unique monthly feature in Ottawa.

Our Streets on Canvas

On May 24, 2011 fresh off a 9 hour drive back from Timmins with Acro, we hit up the Standard for a Standard Tuesday with DJ Acro. Lucky for us, the Standard was playing host to Our Streets on Canvas which was essentially a fundraiser for Make-A-Wish Foundation with a silent auction for some fresh photo pieces of the Ottawa skate scene. (a.k.a great night, good beats, and mad team hangs.) Cheers to Andrew Rochette and crew for keeping the skate community on point...
