worth a repost!

I've already posted this video on this site back in May, but considering I will be in Thailand this time next week I couldn't help but watch this video again, and again. As I understand it, Nico is actually at Thai Wake Park right now which is amazing. Having the opportunity to ride with this kid will be a privilege, and possibly quite fun.

Wake Awards?

two things:

1. Marc Rossiter is a good rail rider, there's no doubt. However, Nico Von Lerchenfeld and Raph Derome take the cake, sorry Marc.

2. Erik Ruck wins move of the year with a mute back mobe? what is this, 2003? Don't get me wrong, i've been a fan of Rucky since his breakout parts in Incomplete, Metronome, and Invisible Cinema, but come on. Where are all the double variations that have been thrown this year? (i.e. Nico's in his web video Notes from Thailand)...anyways...

thanks, that is all.

Best contest EVER: Wake the Line 2011 video highlights

Check out these highlights from Wake the Line 2011. This is probably my dream contest next to FISE, and it happens every summer in Cologne, Germany in an outdoor Olympic size swimming pool. This is wakeboarding and contests done right in every way, shape, and form. Congratulations to Nico Von Lerchenfeld for the win!

Nico Von Lerchenfeld: Notes from Thailand

Notes from Thailand from Andy Kolb on Vimeo.
Kid's got style!! Remember this name: Nico Von Lerchenfeld ailing from Germany is the new kid on the block redefining how rails should be done. I'd say he's the only kid who could give Raph Derome a run for his money...It's gonna be sick to see these two battle it out this summer on both sides of the pond.
